a small percent of my dvd-r's jerk.
it could be at the start middle or end.
its not the way i encode or author as other dvd-r's of the same movie (home movie of course) work perfectly.
i make sure i have no programs running other than what windows runs automatically.
could it be bad media?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

most likely. what kind of media are you using?
i would recomend ritek's myslef. you can also try to slow down the burn to 2x or 1x and see if that helps -
bulkpaq dvd-r 4x aka princo
it's only a small percentage, i find them very compatible and cheap
it's just the fact that i'm not sure if it is media or something else that's bugging me -
Thats probably a media issue. Try to burn slow, and keep the total size under 4GB.

yes princo's have been known to cause many problems. i would highly suggest using a different brand than princo
