    hi, i downloaded a couple mpeg2 files, but i can't play them normally at all. you can only see the picture, there's no sound. but, everyone else can play it just fine, so i guess it's my computer's problem? i'm not sure what though so please help me, thanks in advance!

    Check to make sure you have all the codecs you need, theres a list somewhere on this site.

    can u tell me where the list is?

    but still, it seems that i have the codecs since i can play other mpeg2 files fine.

    download and install gspot. This will tell u what codecs u need
