Ok i know there are several ways to do this, one is to reduce the video quality, which is what I want to do. My little bro had me download some series of an anime. But anywayz, me being the nerd of the family decided to find them.
Well I lucked out and found an FTP site with loads of em. I downloaded them all (about 67 episodes) and they're AVI's. But ok, thats ok. And I was going to use my dvd player to put them onto a dvd. I heard neros converter sucked, So i got tmpgenc.
Ok now down to my question. I want to redcude the quality, (and conisdering its anime, it shouldnt be as noticeable i would think) and fit 1 or 2 more episodes on a dvd. I can currently get about 4 episodes onto one dvd.
how would i go about doing this? And sorry im a newbie, but thank you for your time.

If you convert to VCD mpeg1 using TMPGenc you can get about 7.5 hours on a DVD-R and assuming the quality of the AVIs is reasonable you can expect reasonable results.
You would then need to author them to a DVD so I would suggest TMPGenc DVD Author as being the easiest to use.
It has a 30 Day fully functional Trial .
Then Burn away.
