  1. I have read a bunch of articles but haven't found what I need.

I just want to take all my .MPG video clips (most are MPEG1) and put them on a DVD so that it will play in my stand-alone DVD player.

I don't care about menus but would like each clip to be a chapter but not necessary.

I have tried Memories On TV and it looks like a cool product that does what I want but just keeps crashing when I click BURN ( I tried the .DLL fix)

BTW I have learned a ton from this site on burning actual movies and would like to thank all who contribute.

Can someone please point me to the link of which article/howto to read?

  2. I don’t think you can mix mpeg and mpeg2 on a DVD. What I would do is convert the mpg1 files into mpeg2 using TMPGEnc and then author the DVD with TMPGEnc DVD, then burn it. Since the clips are all separate, then they should play as different track on a DVD player. Hope this helps

TMPGenc can do what you want with video clips. You can mix Mpeg1 and Mpeg2 on a DVD as long as each one goes on a different track.
