There is an interesting observation made my me and my friends here in India. Of late VCDs are available which are playable on regular standalone VCD and DVD Players but these discs are not recognised on CD-ROM drives. I understand these discs are being made to discourage video piracy but I would like to know how these discs are made. I would also try to made a VCD which would not be recognised on CD-ROMs.

This is old news. The patent has been in effect for at least 1 year by now.

I did not know that the patent is one year old in USA. Well, it has arrived at India rather late. However, how do you do it ? What is the software program you use to make such VCDs ?
