    if i use a file over 2hours long, or over 1gb in size, tmpgenc crashes, and ideas? or solutions?

    re-install the software or reboot your PC and try again

    done all that i figured it out, its only one file its happening with, it was orginally 2, but a reboot sorted the other one out, the one im having problems with seems to have a bad frame somewhere (or frames) this is probably causing the crash...?

    i have tried vdub, and divxrepair to fix the avi but both programmes also crash whilst repairing so im guessing its my .avi file? any other ways i can repair this file? or make it useable somehow ready to make a dvd out of?

    what else can cause crashes? still having problem with other files, so im thinking its something other than my sources im loading into tmpgenc
