  1. I have been able to burn some VCD's after converting the AVI to MPEG but have a problem. When I have a file over 700 megs, I can't seem to figure out how to split it so I can burn it on two cd's.

    Thanks

  2. You wanna use TMPenc, go to

    file> mpeg tools

when you get there, click on the "Merge and Cut" tab,

for TYPE choose: MPEG-1 Video CD, then click "add" and choose the file you would like to cut, it will appear in the field. Double click it, and you will be able to preview the movie, scroll through half of the movie and then click the } bracket, that will leave you with a selection in green. Press ok, then, choose a output file name and then press RUN, if this doesn't help you or you don't understand, click this:

  3. Thanks.. I tried TMPenc, but it doesn't work with XP. I get an error that seems to be consistant with others using XP.

    Any other software suggestions?

  4. First, x(S)VCDs are burned in mode2, so a 74min CDR holds 740MB and an 80min CDR holds 800MB. Take a look to the left under "Edit." I would demux w/ TMPGenc, then cut w/ bbMPEG.
