how to split a conveted avi to vcd over 2 disc

I have converted a avi to vcd but it will not fit on one disc how do I get this issue solved please.

cut it in the middle http://www.vcdhelp.com/editmpg.htm#vcd and burn on two cds. if you want to fit it on one cd you have to make x(s)vcd, check here for some tmpegnc templates http://www.vcdhelp.com/vcdtools.htm#templates
