hi all

i'm having a problem with this unit (please be patiene with me i'm a newbie)

this unit is supposed work in all formats (-r,+r,-rw,+rw)

i burned a dvd (i'm using DVD X Copy Platinum 4.0.8.3) using the media that came with the unit +rw no problem

i tried burning to a -r and it wouldn't do it why?

also when i put a blank -r into the drive to play it i get this

a disc with an unsupported format in drive f (is because its blank or is there a problem ? )
