    hi,

    I just bought a Sony VCL-HA07A conversion lens for my Sony Handycam DCR-SR45. I didn't open the box for the conversion lens yet cause I don't know if it will fit or even know how it's going to install. Does anyone know if this conversion lens will fit this video camera?

    Camcorders that accept filters/conversion lens have threaded rings of specified diameter. Most times this is labeled on the lens itself or in the manual. The conversion lens must match the diameter spec.

    The DCR-SR45 has a "filter diameter of 30mm. The lens needs to match.

    Thanks for the quick reply. The box actually says it will fit 25, 30 and 37mm lenses so I opened it up and the conversion was a cinch.
