  1. i use a Haupauge PVR250 and a program called GOT TV to record all my mpeg2's.

    I dont want any fancy DVD menus i just want the movie to start when i put the DVD in the HTPC/standalone DVD player. Is there away?

    I dont have any keyboard/mouse connected to the HTPC so it would be great if the program used keyboard/commandline shortcuts because they are easy to learn the remote control.

    ifoedit, dvdauthorgui

    or tmpgenc dvd author, just set the first play to your video and you don't have to use the menu at all.

    It only takes m2v and mpa/m2a/mp2...same with ifoedit.

  5. i tried bbdtools and the bddmux.exe program. but it cant demux the mpeg2. i also tried tmpgencs demuder and it gave me a "illegal mpeg2 videos tream". IS the mpeg2 from a PVR250 card not following the mpeg2 standard?

  6. I tried DVD auhthor with a example xmlt config file i found on the net.

    <dvdauthor>
    <titleset>
    <titles>
    <pgc>
    <vob file="test.mpg"/>
    </pgc>

    </titles>
    </titleset>
    </dvdauthor>

    i then made a test.mpeg from muxing a dolbydigital.m2v and a dolbydigital.ac3 that i know works into test.mpeg.

    I then started DVDauthor from the commandline "dvdauthor -o dvd -x example.xml"

    i only get a "WARN: Skipping sector, waiting for first VOBU..."

    Whats wrong? If i use the same m2v and ac3 file in scenarist they work fine. so i know its not the files.
