i've got some issues with my dvd burner, and the posts i've found that relate to my issues (but do not solve) are in the dvd writers forum. however, the forum says no post problems there. is this a new thing? where should i post if not there?

If it is a burning problem, it goes under DVD Authoring.

well you have two choices:

1. post your question here.
"Post here if you are a newbie / new to VCD,SVCD,DVD and/or you have problem deciding what section your post should be in. But only video related stuff here, no off topic posts."

2. post your question in the dvd writers forum.
"Everything about computer DVD Writers and CD Writers, problems, which one to get, compatibility and features. But no software authoring or burning problems here."

it doesnt say you cant post problems there, it says you cant post authoring or burning problems. those would go here in the general forum or in the dvd authoring forum. again, if you cant decide, post it here.
