    Hi,
this question has probably been asked millions of times, have searched thru a few pages on this forum, but not sure what to do.

I have an avi file that I captured from my dv cam. I want to extract the audio from this file to either WAV or mp3 etc.

What is the best way to do this?? Freeware would be good???

    Thanks in advance

Use VirtualDub to extract to WAV.

There's loads of WAV -> MP3, just search Google.
There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

    Carpe diem.
