  1. Hi

I use svcd2dvd to burn my movies on to a dvd "record".
But when i play them in my Dvd there is no sound through my surround system (i dont mean "surround" like 5.1) but there is no , or very low sound what ever i choose for output. The Tv though works fine.
I have a Yamaha system all over so there should be no trouble sence usual Dvd´s , svcd´s, works fine.
is this something that is normal when u convert the svcd movies?
( i was thinking sence svcd2dvd is converting the sound in some way? )

    Thanks

    Fredrik

  2. I personally dont use svcdtodvd, however, it has to do something with the audio, which is to basically upsample the audio from the SVCD spec of 44.1 to 48mhz.

  3. I received your pm (there really isnt a need to pm me). Like I said, I dont use svcdtodvd, but was saying that to go from SVCD to DVD the audio needed to be upsamples from the SVCD spec of 44.1 to the DVD spec 48mhz.

What is the spec of the SVCD and what is the spec of the DVD. That may give you your answer.
