Problems burning DVD+RWs with LiteOn LDW 411s

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
I'm hoping someone can offer some insight.

Recently got a LiteOn LDW-411S.
Latest firmware updated(last two updates actually).
Running XP Pro with all updates.
Install went fine and I've burned several backup movies and data dvds onto +R disks using Nero 6 and Copy2DVD.

The problem is that I can't get DVD+RWs to format even, let alone burn, using either Nero nor Copy2DVD.
Neither the DVD+RW that came with the unit nor any of the Memorex 3-pak I purchased.

I even updated WNASPI directly from Adeptec to no avail.

Try a different ide cable maybe.If anyones interested there's firmware that will change your 4x liteon drive into a 8x dvd+r writer. If interested pm me.

Has no one seen or heard of this problem before?

The weird thing is that I can burn +R's no problem.
I just can't get the +RW's to format.

Do you have Nero InCD or any other packet-writing software installed?

Yes, I have Nero 6 with InCD installed.
Should I uninstall it?

Get rid of InCD, reboot, and your +RW problems will disappear.
