    Is it possible to burn with 2 writers at the same time and if so what software would do it?
    Don't really need to do this but I'm curious as I've just bought a new DVD-RW drive and still have my old one.

    same type of burner and firmware is recommended
    but you can give the latest Nero or RecordNow Max a try
