  1. Should I go with the Plextor one or the new Pioneer A07 ?

    Plextor 708A is perfect. I can't say nothing about Pioneer A07. Not tested yet. If the price doesn't matter go to Plextor.

    For me, although I have a Panasonic DVD-r/RAM, there's only one choice; Pioneer.
    The AO7 will definetely be my next purchase.
    I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the Plextor, it was the CDRW top choice but you just can't argue with the feedback of the AO5 & 6.
    Plus, I've only seen the Plextor for around the £155 mark, whereas you can get the AO7 online in the UK now for circa £115.00.
    In a couple of weeks it'll be even cheaper, they reckon double figures (excluding the decimal point)

  4. If you are going to buy a Plextor, make sure you already have a good authoring program. Mine came with Roxio's feeble attempt. But I didn't buy the drive for the packaged software either.....
