Has anyone bought printable dvdrs full face (Printing right to the hub) In Canada, or better yet in Toronto? I have yet to find a store that carries them. I would be willing to buy online however I have only found the BeAlls from Meritline who want $35 shipping + duties and tax.. crazy...
Anyways any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

hi... Im a little New confused here... What are printable DVDrS? I want to buy a 100 pack from mediadepot.ca but I dont understand what printable dvds are? I have a cd labeling kit and I read in the sticky on this forum that labels can cause read problems. SO do these "printable dvdrs" allow me to apply my labels with no problems? thanks

Hello 007craft,
Printable DVD-R allows you to print your label directly on the dvd-r. You don't need label or label kit anymore; thus, eliminate another layer on your dvd-d. However, you need a special printer to do the job. Epson R300 or Epson 900 are excellent choices. Get the Ritek/Ridata 4X printable from http://mediadepot.ca, it's an excellent product.
Good luck!

My apologies autorf; I now see you started this thread way back on Dec. 4th; and Luxor (the spam artist) bumped it up.
Btw: if you do spot this thread, how are they working out for you..? -
hmm... even tho i hate those spamming guys.. I do think mediadepot is ok i guess?
Point is ... I should just get the non-printable then right? Cause I dont want to buy a special printer just so i can do this. -
