ReelDVD error

Using ReelDVD 3.03 and the Explorer window is greyed out. I can see all the other windows just fine, but anything with a path is not showing up on the screen. Same situation when I go to create DVD, the paths are grey. I end up importing assests by dragging from Wndows Explorer. That works, however, the create DVD option needs it's own explorer window. Anyone see this error?

it claimed to be a problem with GEAR software

yet, i dont recall having any gear software installed

that file in the sonic/reeldvd directory... register it!!

there was a newer version in my windows/system32 directory... which ofcourse didnt get overwritten by the sonic installation of reeldvd

and its broken

prob not sonics fault... go blame plasmatech

I've just installed ReelDVD and had the exact same problem so I was interested to see your posting.

How exactly do I register the file?

go to the directory where the file is

open a cmd box

regsvr32 PTxSCP.ocx

thats it...

Will registering PTxSCP.ocx in the ReelDVD directory screw up or affect the other version of PTxSCP.ocx in the windows/system32 directory? Do I run any risk of affecting other programs?
