  1. Useing TMPGEnc I encoded a *.mp2 file with standard svcd format. That went ok did not get any errors.

    When I select the svcd template in nero it says the file does not meet the cirtera for a svcd. It then lists the cirtera which the video is already set for.

    Normal vcds burn without issue but this is my first svcd.

    Do I need a special plugin for nero to burn svcds?

  2. no plugin is required to burn svcd in nero(unless you want nero to encode the video). re-examine the steps you took to find out where you screwed up. svcd is mpeg2, 480x480, up to 2.6mbps. if those parameters already match then de-mux and re-mux with tmpgenc svcd setting

    as addon to previous post:
    480x480 is for NTSC, for PAL its 480x576.

    Also, if you demux and remux, remux in BBmpeg instead of TMPGEnc.
