I am attempting to encode the First season Alias DVD's to Divx using DVD decrypter and DrDivx (I also tried Rip Smart) THe equipment works fine.
Problem is with the DVD file structure. Doesn't seem that the shows are in seperate vob's. In fact it appears they are intertwined in seveal vob's. Further the English sound track seems to move to different track #'s.
Has anyone encoded these in the past who can give me a hand?
Right now I am ripping multiple encodes with DrDivx trying to preview to find the right audio track and hoping on the video (I can view it with ATI MMC, but it seems the vob's start in the middle of episodes and new episodes start in the middle of vob's.)

I solved this by ripping all the vobs individuallywith DVDDecrypter, individually converting with DrDivx, then joining and cutting with virtual dub set to direct stream copy. Worked great until I hit a stubborn vob on season 2 disc 4, vob 3_1. DrDivx would not open it, had to use dvd2avi then AC3Tool, then join and process with virtual dub. Lost a little quality doing it this way.
