When I record anything to my PC via my Freeview Digital Converter, the level of volume on the AVI is really low (canopus ADVC-50). Can anyone give me any ideas on how to raise the volume of the outputed file during the encoding as TMPGEnc only appears to raise the audio level up by 400% and this is by no means high enough.
Of course I can always turn up the volume on my telly, but then if I forget and go back to normal viewing I get blown into my neighbours living room![]()
Thanks in advance.

I have solved the problem and if anyone is interested...
Extract only the audio of the AVI using TMPGEnc where the file is automatically created as an MP2.
Load the MP2 file into a program called BeSweet and convert to WAV while ticking a box marked 'Auto Gain'. This creates a WAV file much louder than the original.
Load the AVI into TMPGEnc as the video only and the WAV file as the audio and encode as normal (adding more audio level if required) and viola
Would this be worth doing a guide for?
<mind you there was alot of thrashing around as BeSweet is not the best of programs to get to grips with!>Cole -
This procedure has been mentioned a few dozen times, thanks for the offer anyways.
