It has been a difficult process to get to this point, and it seems that I am not finished yet. OF some reason, I can no longer burn VCDs (which was the only thing I was able to do correctly when I started trying to make VCDs for my stand alone). I am using MPEG files created w/DVD2AVI, TMPEG, Virtual Dub and TOOLAME at a bitrate lower than 1150. Now I can no longer burn create VCDs, whereas before, when I was using DVDx I was making VCDs that didn’t play in the stand alone.
When I use Nero 5.5.1, it takes forever at half speed then I get a message that says “Unable to finish writing CD.” With Adaptec, the VCD gets burned incompletely and I get these error messages:
T0100: I/O error (06/C5/00) - Write error - buffer underrun occurred
T0100: I/O error (06/C5/00) - Write error - buffer underrun occurred
T7127: TrackWriter error - Flush failed
T7118: TrackWriter error - Command retry failed
VCDEasy didn’t work either.
I tried to burn a regular data CD and it worked fine. I am using Memorex 80 min CDs and defragged my hard drives before attempting to burn. Thanks
