I have just tried to use TMPGEnc DVD but when i went to write to disc it says the bitrate is to high, How do i make it smaller. Thanks

You could ignore the warning and burn anyway, you risk losing 1 DVDr disk but it depends how much over the limit you are. Or you could create a titleset on your HD (VIDEO_TS folder etc) and use a transcoder like dvdshrink to reduce the bitrate, or you will need to re-encode.Originally Posted by crosser
You can check the actual bitrate of the source material with bitrate viewer. Sometimes the header info in an mpeg gives a higher bitrate than is actually present, and I think it is this info that TmpGenc DVD author is looking at.
