When I open the file (through VDub) in the morning after capturing all night (with VDub) the audio stops after about 10 mins into the file.
If I try to saveas a portion of it, it does not contain audio.
Oddly enough the audio is Ok all the way through if I open the original captured avi with Windows Media Player.
I can get around this problem for a couple of captures if I delete all the VDub registry info using regedit then reconfigure VDub again. But the problem keeps coming back and haunting me.
I've moved the VDub executable to a drive other than WinXP operating system which is also not the one the avi's are being caputred on. I've defragged the operating system drive several times.
I use huffyuv codec and pcm audio 44hz 16bit on winxp ntfs drive and capture to an empty ntfs drive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have searched to forum but no one seems to have had this problem.
I may just need a OS reinstall, please let me know.
