    I just started making a backup of my dvd library and noticed that some of my dvds are in dvd5 format (ie: Office Space). How would I go about making a direct copy of a dvd to a dvdr? Thanks for the help.

    On the left toolbar click "guides" then click the down arrow on the "format conversion:" row and find "DVD5 to one DVDR" and there will be many informative guides that will lead you though the process with a variety of applications, many of which are free.

    a lot of different ways will work, but one of the easiest if youre going from dvd 5 to dvdr, is just use dvd decrypter, and burn, there would be no need for any compression
