    I tried to burn SVCD with Nero (conversion made by TempEng), but my DVD player doesn't regognized it. SVCD is OK with PC & WinDVD. VCD works fine with Sony. I also tried to use bitrate below 2200, but it doesn't help either. Could you please give me tips how to make it work, because my DVD player should work with SVCD ( It is on the list of SVCD compatible players ).

    Yes it should play SVCD's via the compatibility list. But did you also check which media it will work on. The list states blue layered CD-R's only, but all layered CD-RW's?
