I've downloaded a couple of MPEG2 files, which are supposedly "DVD-Ready". Indeed, they conform to the DVD standards and burn perfectly directly to DVD (using Ulead DVD MovieFactory) without re-conversion.
However, when played-back on a DVD Video player (on a TV), they vibrate vertically, making them unwatchable. Same thing happens if I import them into Premiere, and output to DV (firewire).
Oddly, when viewed on the PC monitor with Media Player, they look fine!
I've tried forcing MovieFactory to re-convert them, but they still vibrate.
I assume it's something to do with interlacing, but I am at a loss as to how to fix it.
Can anyone help?
TIA
