  1. i thought i had it figured out..
using dazzle usb i capture at 2.5mbs use the post processing, then tempgen to encode to mpeg2 at2100 bit rate then burn with nero result is 45mins of excellent quality video played back on my apex 660 dvd player..

now the twist....of late i am getting sound not matching my video but only well into video like beyond 30mins

so i went to dazzle site and they sugguested turning off all other programs/screensavers/tsr programs which i normally do, also to use post processing which i now do.

i still get this sound/video mis match.....
    does anybody have any sugguestions?

and thinking of upgrading to dazzle II so that i can capture directly to mpeg 2 any comments?

    thanks

  2. I have had this problem with Dazzle files, but only when I split a large file into 2 VCD halves. I turn off everything in the background and leave only EXPLORER running and things come out fine.

  3. The problems with the dazzle software it seems for each software upgrade the quality of the dazzle capture goes down. The best was the old DVC Parrellel Port (PP) vesion the software of 3.62 was the best. The movie star version in the USB has been problematic since day 1. The DVC II the best is the 4.0 4.1 movies star for capturing only great capture of VCDs & SVCDs However, you can not edit or play them back through dazzle if you try your computer will lock up. What is worked for me the best is the DVCll Movie Star software 4.21 SVCD and VCD are quite good editing ok do not up grade to the 4.22 or 4.23 as the capture is not as good inthose versions.
