MPGEnc wont cut a mpeg for a second time

ok i cut the first part about 1hour
now i want to cut the rest of the movie lets say i start at 58minutes and end at the end of the movie
i set i with those buttons offcourse
and then hit ok
then i select run but it keeps saying seeking fast and the furious.mpeg(1) and i wait and wait and after a while it just stops and has not done a thing on the mpeg

how do i fix this what did i do wrong

and is there a other program that allows me to cut it

Hi i got almost the same problem with Tempgenc. Cutting a' SVCD into 2 parts. The first part of the movie is no problems...Dividing a' 1,4 gig mpeg. But when I start to cut the second half It decode the pictures...No problems....Audio...no problems.But when starting output to file It freezze. Have to press ctrl , alt delete to restart.
Can't Tempgenc cut big files into two parts or is my system too weak..*smile*
About your problem..Have you read in Vcd help about tempgenc..How to cut.Not using the buttons to cut..just fill in the numbers where you want to cut the movie to avoid a' Frezing Temgenc.
