    I just recieved my first dvd burner Pioneer dvr106, and I have no idea what to do. What I mean is that I got it bulk and I dont know whether I need any drivers or anything like taht for it. Can someome please tell me what they do. Thanks

  2. Just plug it in and windows should recognize it. I make sure mine is set on Master. You will need a good burning program like Nero or RecordnowMax 4.5 (my favorite)

    yeah,a good programme is essential,but dont use recordnowMAX,its pants.
    for the 106,use CopytoDVD,its a far better programme for the 106 than the others.

    A very interesting observation, seeing as how many, many people here on these forums recommend RecordNow as THE BEST DVD burning program. And, yes, that includes me.
