    Just wanting to know if you can even buy individual or a 5 pack of these disks. I plan on using them only, but would like to have a few to start out with for testing.

    Yes. Most online vendors will sell singles (well they usually have a minimum order, and free shipping only on mediuym/large orders).

    I would reccomed 10 G04's and maybe 5 DVDRW's (RITEK makes some nice 2x's cheap)? That's probably a $20 order and should get you free freight. If your multi-mode burning, try some +R's and -R's to test your DVDPlayer(s).
