I have searched this entire site and cannot find an answer that I understandMaybe someone can provide specific info to help me? I am new to VCD. Decided to create slideshows from pics and burn to VCD that I could play on TV. Downloaded ProShow Gold slideshow maker which I loved...but it would not burn the VCD...it said my CD writer could not do Disk at Once...although I believe it can. So I decided to burn the slideshow as an image (cue/bin)...but Easy CD Creator cannot burn these images. So I then downloaded trial version of Nero 6. I was successful in burning a VCD that did work on my TV/DVD player. Great! The next day I tried to burn another and Nero says ASPI drivers are corrupted. I'v since tried to update the versions from adaptec.com to no avail. Now, NO VCD burning application can see my CD writer. Windows can. I have Windows ME. I've read all about ForceASPI and deleting registry entries..but I don't know how to start this process. Any suggestions how to (1) get a VCD burning package working and (2) fix the ASPI driver issue? PS....I can burn and rip audio CDs still with Adaptec Easy CD Creator. Thanks!!!!!!!!

If I recall correctly after you download ForceASPI and unpack the files it puts an icon on your desktop so you either double click or right click on the icon to run the utility.
