    hi all,

    i'm interested in buying the Sony DVP NS330 dvd player. I want to burn VCD's in Nero 5 onto blank cd-r's, does anyone know if they play back ok on this machine?

    also, if i get a dvd writer, is it possible to create a VCD in nero on a blank dvd-r/dvd+r disc or can you only create VCDs on cds? if it is possible, will dvd-vcds play back on this sony machine?

    any help much appreciated,

    You cannot burn a vcd to a dvd-r/rw. You have to convert to a dvd-vcd.
