  1. i want to use the De-Interlace filter of photoshop in After Effects.

    I already puted the pluging in the right folder, but the plugin does not appear in the list.

    where is it ?

    Do i have to do something first, to make photoshop filters availables in the list ?

  3. no. just the photoshop filters that comes with after effects.

    but normally, where the photoshop plugins should appear ?, in wich category ?

    cause i don't know how to use, even the PS plugins that comes with after effects.

    quite honestly, it's been so long since I used After Effects, I can't remember. I know there's a drop-down menu that lists filters to apply to the video, but I'll be damned if I can think of where.

    check the Help file for "filters" or "plugins" and see what it says about applying them. If I can dig up my AfterEffects manual, I'll see if I can point you in the right direction.

    Not all Photoshop filters are compatible with AE all you have to do is put the plugin into the AE plugins folder and if you can see it in the AE effects pulldown window then it's compatible (obviously).Check out this site http://www.creativecow.net/articles/onneweer_barend/deinterlacing/method5.htm

  6. the plugin i was trying to use, did finally appear in the list. Guess what ?

    doesn't work with after effects. I get an error.
