  3. Thanks for your answer.

Used IfoEdit, but I can't find a legible info on audio. On the left column appears the Dolby Symbol and the AC-3 description, but I've also seen PCM audio and MPEG audio, so my questions are:

How do I know if PCM audio is CD standard 44,1kHz or LPCM 48kHz?
How can i tell what kind of MPEG audio is (MP2, MP3, bitrate, etc)?
I understand that AC-3 can be 2.1;4.1;5.1,6.1,etc... How do I tell which of those kinds is my file?
    What about the SorroundStereo?

    Thanks for your patience

If you open an ifo file with IFOEDIT it will show you what audio streams are in the vob files that correspond to the ifo fil.
AC3 audio is the norm in DVD
    LPCM(WAV) is sometimes used,always 48000
mpeg audio must be mp2 to be DVD compatible
AC3 and LPCM are in the U.S. spec for DVD. Mpeg audio is not in the U.S. spec but is in the European spec so virtully all U.S. players will recognize it.
Even my "ancient" Toshiba Sd1009 will play mpeg audio and it's a DVD and CD only player.

    Great info u gave.

I donīt have an ifo file for that vob, so i can get the audio info only from the vob file.

Is there any other application that can analyse the audio and video attributes of any vob file??

    Thanks
