All home thater systems I have come across (not that many I admit) have a test mode. Also, most store bought DVD's have a 5.1 soundtrack, so whats the problem?

I want to test each speaker on its own just for the fun like a voice that say left right and also some nice sound effects just to brag you know

In that case you are best off making your own. You will need to create the audio in six seperate wav files, one for each channel. Then convert to Ac3 using something like Sonic Foundry Soft Encode.
