DvdX 2.2, ripped vob to HD, encoded to vcd, written by nero (3 cd's).
Stand alone video (which plays all my other stuff perfectly) plays 15 mins, then the vid repeats 5 mins plays 15, repeats 5. Like this:
---------------
...............--------------
.............................---------------
...........................................---------------
.................................................. .......---------------
(ignore the dots - this board doesn't understand <pre>, and the spaces were stripped out - just notice the dashes positions)
up to the end of the movie. That's why it took 3 cd's !!!
Anyone have any idea why?

No dvd writer here, just cdr/rw. Dvd writers are too dear here in Australia. even a bad one is over $500.
