Costco was selling 2x TDKs. 15 for 37$. I checked the media ID code and it was RITEKG04. burned a couple of them at 4X with my LG 4040B, no problems at all.

Yes I just bought a 15 spindle of what was labelled as TDX 2x DVD-R's from Costco. It turns out they are RitekG04's with a rating of 4x in the media code. They work out to a little under $2.50 + taxes each. I would be interested in knowing of cheaper RitekG04's available in Canada.
So far they have all worked flawlessly in my Pioneer 106D 1.07. I previously had a LOT of problems with the other TDK 2x DVD-R's I bought at Costco (an 8 pack in jewel cases). Every single one of them has errors on it with my 106D no matter how I tried to write them. They are actually MXLRG01 2x discs according to the media code. I also bought some Fujis (TYG01) and most of them worked perfectly.
Most of the local computer shops sell spindles of 50 but they are all Princos. I won't buy cheapo media so I am looking for a better supply. For now I will keep buying the RitekG04's from Costco.

So after doing a lot of searches here and checking pages out I found that the 2 best places to buy Ritek G04's in Canada are:
Blankmedia.ca (http://www.blankmedia.ca/prodlist.asp?category=DVD/CD Blank Media)
MemoryExpress.com (http://www.memoryexpress.com/)
BlankMedia has 100 packs for $180 + shipping and taxes (They only have the inket printable version in sotck now)
MemoryExpress has 50 packs for $90 + shipping and taxes (In Alberta so no PST)
I just have to decide which to order (probably the ones from Memory Express since there will be no PST).

Im not buyin from bankmedia.ca because they have a $500 purchase order for items being paid by C.O.D.
And of course im not gonna give out my creit card info on tha net.
Companies should have a 1-800 number so u can purchase with more security. -

I bought from blankmedia.ca once but it was just for some samples. I'll probably put another order in the next couple of weeks when they get in more stock of Riteks. I was only charged GST when I purchased from blankmedia.ca
You can also pay by money order or certified cheque if you don't want to use your credit card online. I used paypal for my sample order but I'll probably use my credit crad the next time. I took about 3 days to get my order. -
I have purchased items in the past from out of the province and not been charged PST. I also emailed them and asked and they said I would not pay any PST.
