    When i play the file, only the video is shown, i cant hear the video. It is a xvid file and when i go into virtual dub and save the wav and then try to play it with winamp it says missing codec. I have Xvid Installed (i think) - would could I be missing?

    Get g spot to find what audio and video codecs the file has so that way you can find them. It's very useful.
