    does anyone know how i can get rid of the black areas around a video? when i make the video full screen it makes a 2 in black areas all around the video. i basically want to stretch out the video so it covers the black area

  2. Use the "Clip Frame" feature from TMPGEnc. You will find this on the "Advanced" Tab under Settings. You can clip Top, Bottom, Left or Right and then try out the video using different "Arrange Settings" to see how it will look.

    It sounds like once you clip the border around the edges the video will stretch to fit the screen just fine but if for any reason the top and bottom have larger borders than the left and right, the video may have to be incoded with "black bars" (alla letterboxing).

    ok i'll try this. when i open the video it only have black borders on the top and bottom. but once i make it full screen the borders are a little bigger on the sides than on the top and bottom

    i chose center custom size and i was able to get rid of the borders on the top and bottom. but the ones on the sides stayed the same size. do you know how i can get rid of them?
