Why wont my WinTV card let me go higher than 320x240 when I'm capturing in virtual dub?

Because VirtualDub is set up to work with VFX video drivers and modern versions of windows use WDM drivers. VirtualDub is an old old program and this is one of its known problems. That' s life. Either capture with another program, or learn to like 352 x 240.
