I have tried to compile and burn an MP3 disc with Nero 6. However Nero does not seem to permit the removal of silence between tracks for MP3 compilations, whereas this is an option when compiling a normal audio cd.
Is there any reason for this or can the silence be removed for MP3 compilations?![]()

its not like an audio cd, its a data cd. there is no silence between files.
the gap i would say is the silence at the end and start of each mp3 file
