I have done a lot of recordings with my MP3 player off the FM and in each one have a buzz noise ever few seconds in the recording. I currently have been using Nero Wave Editor, SoundForge and Goldwave, but I can seem to get rid of of that constant noise. I have used noise reduction and several other filters on each and maybe I am not doing it right or something but I can't remove it.
In SoundForge I have used downloaded filters from digitalFAQ, also the noise gate, Click and Crakle and the noise reduction but nothing.
In Goldwave im currently trying the noise reduction but the audio does sound natural it sounds different maybe distored or damaged not sure.
If anyone could provide me with any hints or point me in the right direction on what to do I would appreciate it. If you need any additonal information let me know.
I have a included a sample of the buzz noise that I hear in the recordings.
Thank You

That noise is coming from the tape or the cassette deck, as it repeats in perfect time. I'd try that first, if you have the cassettes. Fast forward them and rewind them all the way through, then try playing them to hear if the buzz is still there.

Well this was recorded of my mp3 player thru the fm radio so I dont have cassettes just the mp3 files that were created each recording was recorded at 192kbps.

Okay, look at the file I posted above. You'll hear a reduction of the buzzing, but you might not like the effect overall.

So really there is no way to get rid of the buzzing is that what you are saying?
Do you thing it must the the device that is faulty or something? -
Yeah, because the timing is precise. Talk 2 seconds, noise 1 second, Talk 2 seconds, noise 1 second.
You can reduce it, but eliminating it with software will be a nightmare. -
Do you have any suggestions on what i could do? And what can I do to just reduce it then?

so basically just give up right?
