Hi, all ive recently converted to VirtualDub (VERSION 1.5.7 Build 18014 by Avery Lee) for my audio etxraction needs (previosuly using the obsolete Itechdub).
Using TMPGenc i wish to convert a xvid to dvd, but i know that its audio handlign is poor leading to sync probs. Thus i wanted to extract the audio to wav to handle it separtly (audio is orginally 44100hz, 2 stereo, 128kbps), ive folowed the instrutions at
https://www.videohelp.com/divxtovcd.htm#audio
but when i slect file save wav (as per the guide) i get the error message
cannot write to file "*.wav": the parameter is incorrect. WHat am i doing wrong. Ive told the program to keep original compression and have tried at both 44100hz and 48000hz sampling.
WHen vitual dub crashes it comes up with the message
"An out ofbounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'virtualdub'.
Thanks all
