i capture mpg files in the highest resolution on my wintv pvr card in XP. When i try to write them to a dvd (with dvdit and a pioneer dvdrw drive) i get an error message that the files are not compatible (something like a to high rate...)
My question : is there a tool that can check if an mpeg file is 100% ok ?
I'll probably will have to encode it with tmpenc right ?
Thankx for viewing

You might try to find other authoring software because dvdit is really the first step in dvd authoring.
Another possible reason is that you captured at 12Mbits with you pvr which is too high for dvd standards as far as i rememeber.
