ever since i reinstalled my OS, i cant capture good audio anymore! ive read every post and tried everything, but to no avail. i know that Sound Blaster Live! Value has a bad rep, but ive had this card for years and ive never had a problem before. i wonder if its because i converted to NTFS?
anyway, any recomendations on good PCI card models or even some hotfixes or tricks up sleeves?
i dont want to buy a whole new PC, i need those bones for other things...

First of all how do you mean you can't capture audio right, what's wrong with it etc...
Secondly, if you using a VIA mobo, get the latest 4in1's, get the latest Live! Ware from SBLive.com, intall directX8.1 (as well as the capture patch) and last but not least do a search in the microsoft knowledge base, or the creative labs knowledge base to see if they have a solution. -
did the latest VIA 4in1s, updated my directx, and the latest LiveWire drivers. NO WORK! i heard something about changing the PCI slot, ill try that.
i just dont understand how that happened when everything was working fine and dandy. not knowing what i did wrong...
