  2. I just bought a few more 25-packs from BB myself. At $29.99, I don't think it's the cheapest media out there. However, I have burned nearly 100 of them without a single coaster.

The playback has been flawless and I trust putting the many TV shows that I spend hours capturing and editing on TDK media.

  3. I noticed TDKs were made in Japan but now like most they are made in Taiwan, so who's making them? Anyone finding 25 packs made in Japan?

  4. What speed are these? Last time I was at Best Buy they only had 2X TDK DVD-R, but 4X +R. I didn;t know if TDK doesnt make 4X -R or if Best Buy just doesnt stock them.

  6. a) Made in Taiwan -> TDK makes the -R media themselves, whereas +R is from Ricoh = Ritek.
    b) 2x -R is the highest you get from TDK.

I just bought one of the 25 packs at Best Buy yesterday. DVDInfo says they're made by Ritek.
