  1. Hi I am new to DvD recording and I am having trouble copying the Alias: Season One discs. I have tried some other procedures that I found on dvdrhelp.com, but I seem to either get only the first episode on the disc copyed -OR- all the episodes copyed but played right after each other WITH NO MENUS. Which makes it very hard to view (having to fastfoward through episodes).

I am wondering if there is way to do a full backup of a episodic disc, such as keeping the menus and the episodes but some how shrinking their size? Im not looking for a 10 program procedure as for I cannot get a hold of some of the programs. If I cannot do this with keeping everything intact then maybe I can create my own menus and just have them link to each episode. Either way I am having trouble understanding the difference between episodic discs and regular. Thanks to anyone who helps me out here! ThiS is an awsome site and veryyyyyyyyyy helpful.

Once again I AM A NEWB!!!!!

    You are in luck
Get DVDShrink and possibly read guides about it
It will make a (functionally) exact copy

I just finished backing up a few episodic disk this weekend, I used DVD shrink, with great results. I used the still pictures option for the menus, leaving more space dor the episodes.

  6. What version of DVD Shrink ? I am using DVD Shrink BETA... i think its like 3 or something (cant see , not at home right now). Anyway, I copyed the disc to my HD using DvD Decrypter, then used the DvD shrink i have and opened the files.... I clicked the button "Backup!" and now I have a folder that looks just like the contents of my previous folder just small enough to fit on one disc... Now what program do I need to use to prepare it for a burn ??? Or how do I burn from here?
