    I have a mono wav which I want to convert to ac3 which I want to multiplex with a m2v file.
    I have tried this with Besweet with the plugin BS_M2S.
    But I get "Error 72: In order to encode a Mono inputfile, download Mono2Stereo Plugin".

    Can anybody help me?

    There is a freeware program called Audacity in which you can load your mono wave twice, you then have the option to make one the left channel and the other the right. Then export as wave.

    Besweet will then convert the stereo wav you just created to 2 channel ac3.

    I have downloaded Audacity.
    I have loaded the wav and duplicated. After that, the hard to find, option "make stereo track" and now its ok.
